Simon Plant
Director
Simon co-founded Exigen and has been instrumental in building it into an award-winning business. While still involved in maintaining the high standards the firm is known for, his focus is now on expanding the wider services of the Group.
Daniel Plant
Director
As a co-founder of Exigen, Daniel has helped shape it into a well-established mid-tier practice. These days, he focuses on consulting and driving the continued growth of the Group.
Annabel Ah-Lim
Group Finance & Operations Director
Annabel is a Chartered Accountant with over a decade of experience in accounting and finance, including a specialisation in forensic accounting. After leading key operational projects as Senior Finance and Treasury Manager at Exigen, she is now the Director of Exigen Brokers.
Jeremy Perceval
Director
Jeremy has over 25 years of experience in the property industry and is a fellow of the RICS. A Registered Property Receiver and Valuer, he has worked across all asset classes nationwide, advising on property insolvency and business turnaround strategies.
Crystal Allen
Head of HR
Crystal has been with Exigen for over 15 years and plays a key role in shaping the business as Head of HR. She works closely with the management team on strategy, vision, and policy development while ensuring the team has the support they need.
Paul Bergeman
Head of Marketing
Paul has over a decade of sales and marketing experience, including building and scaling his own B2B lead generation businesses. At Exigen, he’s responsible for bringing in new clients, driving growth, and leading the Digital Marketing team.

David Kemp
Director
David joined Exigen in 2006 as a law graduate and worked his way up to Licensed Insolvency Practitioner and Director. Holding CPI and JIE qualifications, he works with lenders, accountants, and business owners across the UK, offering clear, practical restructuring advice with a focus on helping businesses find a way forward.
Richard Hunt
Director
Richard has over 30 years of experience in business recovery and insolvency, with extensive experience in corporate advisory work. He has acted in a wide variety of restructuring assignments and insolvencies, including in cross-border and multi-jurisdictional cases.
Darren Edwards
Insolvency Practitioner
Darren is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner with over 30 years’ experience across a wide variety of insolvency assignments including cross-border recoveries and complex case management. He is a trusted advisor to businesses and individuals facing financial distress and committed to delivering positive outcomes whilst supporting clients throughout every stage of the insolvency process.

Kirsty Mills
Manager
Kirsty joined Exigen in March 2018 and brings a wealth of operational, customer service and sales experience to the group. Having initially worked in our Brokerage, Kirsty now works alongside senior management, reviewing processes and operations to streamline customer journeys and improve efficiency and productivity across our various departments. Kirsty is also Interim Assistant Manager for the Pre and Distribution Team within the MVL department.
Patrick Hogan
Senior Consultant
Pat has been a key part of the Liquidation Centre team for over 15 years, advising business owners through some of their most difficult financial situations. He helps directors make sense of the liquidation process, and his honest approach means clients always know where they stand and what their options are.
Bradley Durrant
Senior Consultant
Bradley joined Exigen in March 2023 and has a wealth of experience as a Business Consultant working in Finance as a Broker then moving across to Insolvency. Bradley works with Accountants, Businesses and Individuals and prides himself on being a problem solver and assisting businesses and individuals facing financial challenges.
Grace Burton
Senior Consultant
Grace joined Exigen in November 2020 in the MVL pre-appointment team as a consultant. She obtained her degree from The University of Nottingham, and has experience working in the Legal and Retail sectors. She will be responsible for dealing with new leads and appointing cases within the team, developing her knowledge throughout.
